At Hospital Saathi we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the controls available to you.
1. Data we collect
- Account: name, email, phone, password (hashed), profile photo (optional).
- Booking: hospital, date, service, language, helper assigned, payment status.
- Helper KYC: government ID, selfie for face verification, medical college proof.
- Device: anonymised analytics for crash & performance only.
2. How we use it
- To match you with a verified helper for your hospital visit.
- To process payments securely via Razorpay.
- To send booking & safety updates via SMS / WhatsApp.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and impersonation.
3. No unauthorized data sharing
We never sell your data. We share the minimum required information with your assigned helper (first name + masked phone) only after payment is confirmed. Government IDs are never shown to other users.
4. Encrypted payments
All payments are processed by Razorpay over TLS 1.3. We do not store your card or UPI credentials on our servers.
5. Secure authentication
Sign-in uses industry-standard OAuth via Google or password hashing with bcrypt. Sessions are token-based and revoked on sign-out.
6. Your rights
You can request data export or deletion at care@hospitalsaathi.in. Helper profiles can be self-deleted from the helper dashboard (30-day grace period).
7. Cookies
We use first-party cookies for session management. No third-party advertising cookies.
