What helpers can do
- Guide you through registration, queues, departments and wards.
- Help with admission paperwork, lab tests and discharge formalities.
- Translate between you and hospital staff.
- Provide companionship & comfort for elderly or anxious patients.
What helpers cannot do
- Diagnose, prescribe or perform any medical procedure.
- Replace your treating doctor or hospital staff.
- Handle medical emergencies — please call 112 or the hospital's emergency department.
Emergency
If you or the patient is in a medical emergency, call 112 (India national emergency) or the hospital's ER directly. Hospital Saathi is not an emergency service.
